[1.11.2017] - Arkania Episode 4 - Update Part 1.2

Game client has been updated. All players need to auto-update via Launcher. To get the auto-update, close the game, close Launcher and start it again. If you have problems with auto-update, you can manually download and install the Patcher, it must be unpacked in the folder with the game client, replacing all of the suggested files.

Location Aida has been expanded, new territories were added. The total amount of spots on the map has more than doubled. We have one more Hellmaine and new mob Blaze Napin, which has a respawn time of 10 minutes and drops Navy Candy Box.

Losttower was left as the only Non-PvP location on the main server. Dungeon, Valley of Loren and Crywolf were fixed and now are actually zones of free PvP. Dark Lord’s Summon ability can no longer teleport phonomans with 15 kills or more to locations: Losstower, Atlans, Tarkan, Icarus, Aida and Kanturu. And when you reach 30 kills you will not be able to continue killing other players on this locations, unless you PK Clear.

Combo damage formulas were updated, the current figures now look like this:
DW: ENE + MaxMana/2
DK: STRx1.25 + MaxHP/50
ELF: STR/3 + AGI/2 + ENE/3 + DefenseSuccessRate x3
MG: STR + ENE + MaxMana/4 + MaxHP/50
DL: STR + ENE/2 + COM/2 + AG/2

There is a new Elven buff – Ragefull Strikes. It adds extra combo damage for all party members for 60 seconds. The power of the buff depends on the maximum amount of Mana (MaxMana/10) of the elf caster. All elfs receive this skill after completing Marlon quest.

Dark Lord’s Critical Damage buff has been enhanced. Now it is dependent on the amount of Command that your character has. Maximum possible gain has more than tripled. The duration of the buff has been reduced and depends on Command. Minimum 60 seconds and maximum 220 seconds with 32k Command.

Dark Lord’s Electric Spike skill has been enhanced. Now it deals additional damage equal to 2% HP and 6% Mana of your party members that are in a view range.

Mana Shield has been modified, maximum possible absorption percent has been rolled back to 30%, but now you can achieve this value much sooner at 20k Energy and 40k Mana. In addition, we fixed a bug when the maximum duration of the buff was 166 seconds instead of the set 220 at 32k Energy.

Dark Wizard’s Nova skill has been significantly buffed. Now it deals enormous amount of damage when you reach the maximum charge at 6 seconds. Be careful with that, it might cause instant kills.

Dark Wizard and Magic gladiator also received additional Wizardry Damage, depending on the maximum amount of Mana they have. Formula: Additional Damage = MaxMana/20.

When using Teleport ability your Defense Success Rate PvP doubles. It means, that during teleport chance of enemy missing a hit on you increases.

The first blow from the Magic Gladiator, if he has not attacked anyone for 10 seconds now deals 300% damage. If MG kills any target, whether it’s a player or a monster, the timer is reset and your next hit will again deal 350% damage.

We have increased additional Defense that Elfs and Magic Gladiators gain from Vitality. It should help them survive on the high-rate servers.

All Excellent items that are dropped in the game from any sources now have an ultra-low chance of having 4 Excellent options. Yes, your heard it right, now you can get 4opt items in the game, but you should be incredibly lucky. These items will become the rarest in the game.

Basic models for character for all classed have been updated, now they look much more refined.

It was an update part 1.2, the long-awaited second part with new Ancient sets is in the final stage of development.

Is it possible to make sm mana shield as a party buff same like all other buffs? Because now it is as a same length as others but u still need to click on each name to give ms.

And dl crit buff still depends from energy not command.

MG after this update became worser. 10 seconds delay breaks this feature. Make spiral 200% dmg for every hit - it will be much better. Why spiral? Cause it's longest skill on SMG - it can do compensation.

It's OK, only if you make 1vit = 3hp.

 

Yesterday tried to duel with some guys - the main problem is in hp for MG.

Sometimes I didn't even started to hit DL before I die.

 

BTW the question I don't know the answer:

Does combo do 3 hits or 1 hit?

Cause I hit with power slash with 130k, and combo 150k only.

If it's 1 hit - then I don't see the reason in combing, cause power slash is much faster than combing))

 

And one more question:

Does Demon affects COMBO dmg? As I noticed - it doesn't. I guess you need to include demons dmg% in combo formula.

 

I don't play now, but anyway I want to see the right balance on this server one day...

Try today, yesterday these changes were not in yet. 

I have heard (from other projects) that DL is the one who got the most nerfed, but that is just what i heard :D 

+ i think MG is fine (on non-max stat servers), it is not supposed to be the strongest char anyway, now it is stronger + does debuffs, so it has a solid role to play all-in-all.

 

About Demon - "Increase physical damage +44%", so i guess that doesn't affect combo. And if it doesn't, it is probably done so on purpose, to not make anyone too IMBA.

all this balance system sucks... what about making real balance? you could change combos and other sh. but elf just cant kill bk dl or mg. same situation with other classes. Dont make shitty updates you need to fix everything from the bottom. Or open new server and forget these problems for months :D

Interesting.. on our other project on the low rate server, ppl are saying that SM is imba and kills ppl in TDM even when the opponents have berserker. 

 

P.s. this applies only if you're talking about Aurora.

When the stuff would get that every server should be balanced separately?

Why don't you allow to trasfer bons, but allow the same formulas in different servers?
Donate prices are high-end, but service is lo-fi...

Well, the update needs to come out fully in order to start re-balancing each server. So, all will come, just patience.

SM shouldn't be top fighter in MU.

It's debuffer(ice storm, decay) in first place and buffer(ms to all party) in second place.

 

 

The main problem of the stuff is in constitutional misunderstanding of every class role.

 

MG is the only one class which has no any party buffs and he was born to be the first-class fighter. But what's here? Stuff thinks it should be helper class.  Help with what? Jump - Fire slash - die. Fire slash isn't working when there is twisting on the screen)) And even if you repair it once in 202x year - it's not enough to keep MG as the helper.

 

 

P.S. Also in aurora you should work on damage. It's overhigh in each class. MU is the party/team game - try to find out solution when top chars can't kill each other in solo mode.

MG was born to be first class fighter? I dont think, BK was first class figter in pvp. You talk about MG dont have buffs dont forget MG have more points for lvl and reset ;)

I agree. MG doesnt have any of the bafs,so its the only class who should be the top solo fighter in this game. He cant help anyone with bafs cuz he dont have them.If we look on the sets defence,no one have it so high like MG have,but it doesnt really work.I dont know why.Like @CCCP said,the main problem of MG is defence.Its strong character,but defence should be higher. My mg have FO weapons,Hurricane set +13+3/+2 opt,already on top 5 in achievements and nearly full quests,but still it takes 2 sec to kill me. And the killer is DL with shity set +L+dd+13.

And we have one more problem, becouse we have same dmg from combo with wings and withouth wings,  look DL attack FS and wings works in normal attack,,,, 

but for combo its dont work, when i use 1 sword i have the same dmg with 2x swords from combo. Now my wings it was only for defence.. In this formula BK have wery low dmg from norma attack.. and wings was for only defence.

And dont forget that MAgic gladiator is mix of Dark knight and wizzard,so his defence should be the same strong as dmg.

MG has never been and never will be the greatest fighter. Originally it was designed to have both SM and BK skills and because of that he got nerfed def (no helm). 

On our servers MG have already increased def (to compensate for helm) and now the def has increased even more (from vit -> read the top post) + wiz dmg has increased.. +combo + the 1st hit bonus, geez :D

And don't forget that it has Fire slash which is a debuff that can change the outcome of any battle, so that is MG's main role - debuffer.

 

I really don't get what is wrong with MG. Right equip, right stats and right hands and you're golden (well, not on max stat server :D )

Nope. The main feature of the char, in the original version, was to have the ability to go ENE and go magic or go STR and go physical and that was all :D Even the original Webzen ppl made it pretty useless :D

So whats the mix is ELF? Because he can go to ene elf and agi elf aswell.But he have bafs. :) DL can go to str and ene aswell.

Elf can go buffer or solo damage.. 

DL can go buffer or damage aswell, but in reality they both need everything to be decent. Now, for example, DL can go full ene + full com and go full buffer style.

 

DL and Elf are not mixes btw, they are just chars that you can play in multiple ways, depending on your guilds/partys needs. 

MG is MG, stop trying to make MG into BK, it will never happen :D

Poison, Ice, Lightning? Useful debuffs if you play emg.

 

MG doesn't have anything from BK or SM, the whole feature of the char is the option to go fighter or wizard, that does not mean BK or SM, it just means physical damage or wizardry damage :D  The fact some skills overlap it just because original MU devs were lazy :D

Guys, I hope you realized there is a problem with the reflect. If I hit a MG 100 dmg, sometimesit reflects 10x more. I tested this earlier with Cazador (aurora). He sustained he seen this happening to him aswell when hitting SM. From 2-3 hits I get half my life drawned. I will post a video later.
